You are absolutely right. After this season’s treatment of first Bernie Williams and then Joe Torre, I’ll bet even Derek Jeter will be dropped the first time he bats .285. As for manager, it would be like working with a boss constantly over your shoulder. I wouldn’t take the job if they gave me $10 million. The Yankees are great, but Steinbrenner sucks. I won’t cheer for them till he and his offspring are gone.
