Can high blood pressure make it harder to lose weight?

tattyhead65 asked:

Since turning 40 I’m alarmed at how much weight I’ve put on and it’s really hard to lose any. I’ve also developed high blood pressure so I’m wondering whether one has caused - or contributes to - the other.

Both can contribute to the other. High blood pressure can make it harder to lose weight because of the regulation. Don’t let that scare you. I don’t have high blood pressure, am in my 50’s, and, compared to high school graduation, am alarmed at MY weight gain. I’m working on it, though.

Yes, a bit alarming at this age, NO it’s not hard to loose weight, but one has to lead a disciplined life. Both are dependent on one another /superimposed.
Do physical daily, and sweat yourself out while walking but no over doing, OK.
Eat healthy diet, no fat, no sugar, no red meat, lot of fibre veg.
No stress and strain. Lead a normal simple disciplined life and your BP will be normal.
