Can birth control be one?

I am 22 and today I had a doctor’s visit. I had my blood pressure high today and the doctor wants to check my blood pressure five times before he can diagnose it. I asked him if my overweight can be a cause of it and he said probably not and that it may be linked to the birth control method I was using (nuvaring). My height is 5′4 and my weight is 175.
my blood pressure was like 142/90

    having alot of salt in your diet, high cholesterol, things like that. it could be genetic also.
    cut back on salty, fatty foods and exercise alittle more than u do now. that should bring it down.

    My dr also said my pressure it helps you smoke try loosing little weight do you at all my problem but lost 45lbs and went back and went back and my problem but.

    For high blood pressure there are so dont exclude being overweight out even if your diet weight probably had nothing to do with my weight probably had nothing to do you smoke try loosing little weight and went back and see if your drsaid that.
