What is classified as high blood pressure?

October 18th, 2008 | by admin |
Shannon asked:

I counted how many beats I had per minute and it came out to about 75-

So I was just wondering, what is classified as high blood pressure in teens, and if there is a classification for low blood pressure, what is that??

The beats per min you counted was your pulse and has nothing to do with.
The beats per min you counted was 120 over 80 the beats per min you counted was 120 over 80 the beats per min you counted was your pulse and above is high and has nothing to do with pressure.

Ask your doctor. Mine says that when the diastolic number (the second number in the blood pressure presentation) is consistently 90 or more, high blood pressure is a concern.
Heart rate is how fast your heart beats and has more to do
with exertion or its approximation than with blood pressure alone. Stress seems to increase both.

normal pulse is between 60-100, and normal blood pressure is between 120/80. if systolic is more than 140 and/ or diastolic more than 90 it is considered high. and there is big deference between blood pressure and pulse, take care
